The Accreditation Coordinator provides compliance for Baylor Scott & White Health accreditation efforts and reviews to include facilitation of continuous survey readiness. The Accreditation Coordinator serves as an internal consultant for the interpretation of standards and functional compliance assessment and participates in survey related activity providing education and training on accreditation requirements. The Accreditation Coordinator support and sustain hospital-wide continuous improvement efforts. The Accreditation Coordinator coordinates Joint Commission activities to ensure assigned facilities are in compliance with all required standards and have an integrated, consistent plan for maintaining continuous compliance with all required accreditation standards. The Accreditation Coordinator prepares written responses and development of corrective action plans regarding Joint Commission recommendations.
The Accreditation Coordinator serves as facility liaison to surveyors during complaint investigations or Medicare surveys and serves as facility coordination point for all hospitals licensure requirements and activities.
The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communications skills, is analytical with the ability to collect and organize data and strong presentation skills.
