SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Situated on the West Shore of Harrisburg, the Penn State Health Penn State Health Cancer Center at Hampden Hospital is seeking a Patient Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join the team!
This office operates during week-day/daytime hours, so enjoy your weekend, evenings, and holidays at your leisure! The chosen Patient Assistant will be completing the following duties, including chart prepping, rooming patients, and cleaning rooms following appointment completion. Administrative tasks may include handling and completing reports as well as asynchronous duties, as assigned.
The hired Patient Assistant will be working with an average of 80 patients per day, so multitasking will be an important factor in this position. The ideal Patient Assistant will be compassionate, and patient, and demonstrate punctuality/consistency in each shift completed. This clinic operates on a teamwork basis, so working both independently and within a team will be expected.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within six (6) months of hire
