Job Description Responsible for assisting with the professional role development of members of the Nursing Department as well as the implementation of programs to improve the quality of care delivered for the 9CD Surgical Unit and 4W observation unit. Principal Accountabilities:1. Ensures all on-the-job training is consistent with guidelines established 2. Ensures that site trainers/preceptors have the knowledge, tools, and attitude to effectively train staff 3. Acts as both a formal and informal consultant, assisting with the integration of new learning into nursing practice
