Job Function: Ensure day-to-day courier services for Atlantic Health System are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and be available for overtime, special events and holidays as needed by the department.
- Completes tasks and assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain updated current courier run sheets monthly for their shifts.
- Must be in full uniform including a visible ID badge, key peg and maintain a professional appearance.
- Vehicles are to be cleaned inside and out daily.
- Rig check sheets are to be completed and turned in daily.
- Swipe in and out on time.
- Is on time for routine scheduled courier stops.
- Obtains receiving signatures for all boxes and packages.
- Adheres to all Atlantic Health System and Atlantic Ambulance Policy and Procedures
- Completes all required training and maintains all required certifications and licenses.
- Familiar with the use of an iPhone and basic technology
- Contributes to a team environment.
- Must attend at least 50% of all transportation staff meetings.
Job Qualifications:
- NJ Driver's License (CDL optional) free of restriction
- Is able to lift and pull at least 50 lbs.
- Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification within 4 months of hire date.
- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability and willingness to mentor new employees
- Available for off shift and weekend hours as needed
- Driving in all weather conditions
- Able to be discreet when dealing with sensitive/confidential information
