Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryUnder the supervision of the Director of Payer Relations & Contracting, serves as key liaison to UMMC and FPI leadership as well as physician, clinical and administrative staff for physician and hospital specialized, high-cost service contracting. Acting as the primary contact with payor organizations and national Center of Excellence networks, utilizes revenue protection strategies to assess contracting opportunities, conducts contract negotiations/re-negotiations, and manages contract/payor relationships to improve actual/expected revenues and maximize volume.
