Utilize your expertise and take your career to the next level as a Director of Accounting at our Venice Family Clinic. The Director of Accounting will support the Sr. Director of Accounting and the CFO in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting functions while effectively using the resources available to address financial issues on a micro and macro scale to secure the continued success of the organization. This role will be responsible for managing a team, month end and year end close, coordination/review of general ledger and financial statements, preparing and maintaining financial schedules, conducting complex analyses and preparing detail and summary financial reports, and developing and maintaining systems and workflows to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting records. The Accounting Director will also work closely with the CFO and FP&A team in the preparation of the annual Operating Budget and variance analyses, and will coordinate with auditors and tax accountants for the annual independent audit and 990 tax returns.

Salary Range: $83,800.00 - $179,400.00 Annual
Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or closely related field
5+ years minimum experience including 2+ years in public accounting
Experience in an accounting leadership role with demonstrated managerial accomplishments
Healthcare experience (preferably in a FQHC / Community Health Center at an organization with $50M+ revenues)
Audit, Compliance, General Ledger and Financial Reporting experience
Fund or Not-for-Profit accounting experience
Advanced Excel Skills including Pivot Tables, V-Lookup’s and Logic Functions
Experience with Accounting Software such as Blackbaud Financial Edge, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft, or Oracle JD Edwards
Excellent accuracy, precision in math, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
