Position Summary

This position is required to meet the needs of both IT Application development team and clinical end users in relation to clinical decision support and report development. The programmer/analyst is responsible for working with clinical analysts to develop and support requested reports, rules and interactive web pages within Children's Clinical Applications (e.g. Cerner, eCW, etc.).

License/Certification/Registration required? No

Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information systems or other related degree.

Required Experience:
* 4-6+ years programming experience.
* 4-6+ years experience with Relational Databases.

Preferred Experience:
* 4+ years experience in hospital/clinic healthcare setting and/or clinical application development.
* 4+ years of CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and/or other web technologies.
* 4+ years with Cerner Command Language (CCL).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated effectiveness managing multiple assignments, consistently meeting deadlines.
