BJC is hiring for a Solution Engineer - Active Directory.
Implement, support, and troubleshoot Active Directory, Azure (Entra) Active Directory, AAD Sync, SSO, Certificate Authorities, DNS, DHCP, Domain Controllers, GPOs and other core Windows components
- Technical administration, troubleshooting, documentation, and implementation of Windows systems.
- Serves as the first line of escalation support for Active Directory/Azure (Entra) and identity-related issues that cannot be resolved by tier one support.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the Active Directory & Azure (Entra) environments in accordance with Microsoft and industry best practices.
- Maintain systems in accordance with established policy and procedure, ensuring adherence to standards of operations.
- Provide support for Microsoft Server and Windows/Linux application environments.
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

IS Security Services serves as an independent, objective catalyst for implementing effective and efficient controls to protect BJC HealthCare (BJC) information resources through collaboration with customers. We provide value to our customers and the organization by: Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations; evaluating information system and application controls; educating BJC employees and other strategic partners on information systems security practices and concepts; acting as a resource on security controls for new and existing information systems and applications; recovering mission critical applications and data vital to the organization and strategic partners; investigating practices not in compliance with established BJC Information Services security policies and standards.

Responsible for complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation. Has central responsibility for key design decisions affecting multiple systems under simultaneous development. Responsible for ensuring specific component designs adhere to the architectural standards established for the systems under development. Responsible for the implementation of the designs; therefore the designs must have practical applicability. Leads staff employees on a regular basis, but is not the supervisor.
