About the Role:
Job Summary
The Enterprise Testing Coordinator (ETC) deploys testing in the areas of software and technology services. Collaborating closely within the ITS (Information Technology Services) department and Project Management Office, this role develops and implements procedures, processes, protocols, and policies for software and technology services testing. The ETC is responsible for improving stability of service delivery through testing automation, scalability testing, software test metrics, test suite setup, test device and environment management, and platforms testing configuration. The role is responsible for generating, analyzing, and delivering metrics and reports to IT leadership for technology projects and initiatives. The ETC also produces timely and ad hoc testing reports as mandatory function of the role, including internal analysis against testing team practices and procedures. This position administers testing Quality Assurance procedures that measure performance across teams, projects, and initiatives. The ETC liaises with vendors, third-party entities, and external contacts ensuring successful testing of software and services. Participates in lean and continuous improvement programs and initiatives.

Educational Requirements: Associates Degree
Minimum Experience: 5 years professional experience in professional/healthcare environments working with systems or software.

Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Accelerated Microsoft Office suite knowledge including proficiency with Excel workbooks, formulas, tables, formatting, graphs, PowerPoint, PowerBI and other databases.
Knowledge of testing tools and requirements, including unit, integration, acceptance, system, performance, security, usability, and compatibility testing. Familiarity with common security frameworks (HITRUST and NIST) and testing protocols and systems used by InfoSec professionals.
Effective use of project and budgetary resources
Understanding of the software development life cycle, modern testing practices, and project management methodologies
Experience with enterprise applications and ability to follow complex business logic required within ERPs (Workday), EMRs (Epic), ITSMs (ServiceNow), testing suites, testing tools and SaaS platforms with workflows. Apply critical and systems thinking to the detailed testing of business systems.
Ability to communicate with all stakeholders through formal presentations as well as oral and written formats.
Ability to quickly learn various programming languages.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Testing Protocol Development: Develop, document, and deploy software and technology testing protocols for IT projects and initiatives using functional and non-functional requirements.
Test Automation: Research, design, deploy, manage and/or modify test automation using various industry tools for systems and application software.
Quality Assurance: Administer effective controls and guidelines during testing phases to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
Communication: Effectively communicate and document testing progress, results and relevant information regarding the testing to peers, leaders and product/project development teams.
Testing Execution: Coordinate and assist with test execution, defect reporting, documentation, environment setup, strategy, regression testing, continues improvement for the overall process and product delivery.
Collaboration: Continually collaborate with the training department to create curriculum, artifacts, and resources required for testing procedures, protocols, and framework methods. Work with internal teams to advise on best practices for testing tools, strategy, and techniques to integrate quality throughout the product life cycle.
Adherence to Schedules: Execute appropriate tests within established project schedules to ensure a clear understanding of discovered issues in relation to deliverables.
System Evaluation: Evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall systems
Programming: Work with various programming languages as required for testing of software and technologies
Issue Logging: Ensure testing issues are logged and shared with relevant stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Lead testing efforts as assigned for planning, deployment, and administration of testing protocols and procedures.
Project Management: Participate in PMO-directed tasks and activities related to testing while working within waterfall and agile methodologies
Documentation: Maintain testing and other process and project-related documentation to support ongoing improvement and evolution of products and testing practices. Ensuring that testing documentation complies with relevant industry standards or regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement: Propose improvement points that will ease the user experience and streamline testing processes.
Vendor Management: Manage external contacts administering testing initiatives for the organization.
Performance Testing: Planning and conducting performance tests to evaluate system responsiveness, reliability, and scalability.
Stability and Satisfaction: Partner with the RCA and Change Management Process Owners and team members to improve stability and overall satisfaction of services.
Automated Testing Frameworks: Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for efficient test execution.
Process Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry-specific compliance standards and regulations relevant to testing activities.
