In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) section of Dermatology is seeking a full time Mohs dermatologic surgeon to join a busy academic dermatology practice based primarily in our Hauppauge regional site, specialized in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. Applicants must have expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery and an interest in clinical research and teaching. Opportunities for multidisciplinary clinical research and collaborative projects are numerous.

The MSK Dermatology Service has a renowned faculty and a robust research program in the areas of optical imaging, medical informatics, artificial intelligence, patient reported outcomes, clinical trials, and epidemiologic studies.
Qualifications:
- An M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O. or equivalent with excellent clinical, communication and team skills.
- Board certification in Dermatology by American Board of Dermatology.
- MDS (Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery) subspecialty certification or eligibility for certification by ABD.
- ACGME MSDO fellowship successful completion.
- Licensure in the state of New York, or eligibility for a medical license in New York required.
- A track record of academic productivity.
- Strong potential for research independence.
