In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
Are you looking for your next career challenge? We are excited to be recruiting a Director, CRM Strategy who is passionate about data, lifecycle marketing and personalized comms! The incumbent will be a senior member of the Digital Strategy team, helping to drive the strategic goals of the Marketing and Communications department through use of newsletters and CDP data.
Reporting to our Vice President, Digital Strategy, you will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy and multi-year roadmap for a best-in-class lifecycle marketing engine that enables personalized communications to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time in alignment with our business goals.
- Develop our newsletter strategy and build a full suite of newsletters.
- Drive CRM best practices across the organization, managing people and processes cross-functionally to ensure adoption.
- Develop monthly evergreen email calendars leveraging the work of the strategy, brand and editorial teams
- Oversee and complete creative briefs for new and existing campaigns.
- Develop and implement an ongoing testing regimen (subject lines, cohorts, layout, format, frequency, etc.) to continuously improve email performance focused on user engagement and conversion
- Partner with data and analytic team to develop weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting on email performance
- Conduct a strategic review of existing CRM channels with a start/stop/continue lens and build out new CRM channels to establish efficient new growth.
- Participate in the development of detailed customer journey flows with actionable triggers to drive conversion and engagement based on customer insights.
- Stay informed on market trends and retention standard methodologies, including personalization, CRM flows, email deliverability, and innovative creative approaches.
You have:
- 10+ years of experience in CRM or other related functions.
- Disposition to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- The ability to dig into large sets of data to interpret findings, analyze trends, recognize anomalies and make recommendations for testing.
- Experience creating newsletter strategies
- Experience working with a CDP
- Management experience leading CRM teams and managing outside agencies.
- Critical thinking and problem solving with a positive attitude is a must.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Superior written and oral communication and executive presentation skills.
- A passion for helping people who are fighting cancer
