The community you’ll be caring for:
- More than 800 physicians, 450+ advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services.

The role you’ll contribute: The Training Analyst I is responsible for implementing standardized clinical, revenue cycle, and practice operations training strategies for AdventHealth Medical Group. The Analyst will collaborate with the Physician Enterprise Training Delivery Manager and medical group leadership to identify, assess, prioritize, and address training and development needs among practice staff. The Analyst will carry out suitable training initiatives that result in standard, efficient, and sustained adoption of technologies used within AdventHealth Medical Group. The Analyst will maintain objectivity by assessing and prioritizing training needs based on performance and compliance with specific training plan goals and targets.
Successful candidates will maintain and display subject matter expertise in EHR, ancillary applications, and standard workflows to operationally support Physician Enterprise and regional initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee the provision of multidisciplinary education and training and can effectively evaluate workflow to assist the staff with best practice implementation and sustainment.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Support EHR and ancillary training efforts and continuing education training across the medical group.
- Deliver onboarding, training, go-live support, and continuous improvement efforts for new department acquisitions and new Providers.
- Participate in strategy, delivery, and implementation efforts of Physician Enterprise and regional operational projects.
- Manage ServiceNow ticket queue to effectively identify, troubleshoot, and track issues at the medical group level.
- Deliver training using various platforms (i.e. in person, virtual, etc.) for both new and existing users including Providers, clinical support staff, front office/billing staff, and market leaders.
- Analyze learning needs to ensure success of the training. Continuously improves engagement strategies to achieve desired learner comprehension and proficiency.
- Regularly assess the education needs of end users through on-site visits, operational performance analytics, job and process analyses, and other metrics.
- Identify and effectively communicate any change management risks, potential barriers, or delays as it pertains to the overall learning plan/strategy.
- Collaboratively evaluate the effectiveness and success of the education program to identify continuous improvement efforts.
- Assess operational performance analytics to summarize education gaps, determine the impact of training on employee skills, and develop action plans for onsite support.
- Maintain a keen understanding of adult learning, training and education trends, development, and best practices.
- Distribute Physician Enterprise communications to end users and assess user comprehension.
- Identify opportunities to improve provider wellbeing, staff satisfaction, consumer engagement and satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Serve as a liaison between the medical groups, Physician Enterprise, and Adventist Information Technology (AIT) teams.
- Facilitate assessment of workflow processes before, during, and after system implementation and other operational initiatives.
- Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
- Maintain policies and procedures related to the clinical information system.
- Up to 50% travel may be required with occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate degree, certificate, or 5 years of highly relatable experience
- 2+ years training experience in a healthcare environment
- Ability to identify education and training needs in a healthcare setting and participate in related program development and instruction.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation.
- Experience in process mapping and process mapping tools (Microsoft Visio)
- Excels at prioritization and coordination of multiple projects.
- Experienced in application of Microsoft Office Suite with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge in healthcare operations, information technology, revenue cycle, physician practice operations, clinical operations, nursing workflow, physician workflow, compliance practices, and medical information management.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training presentations and resources.
- Displays knowledge and skills necessary to deliver quality educational instruction to all levels of staff (including external agencies) in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses strong conflict resolution and customer relation skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- EHR implementation and training experience Preferred
- Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., HEDIS, MIPS) Preferred
- 2+ years physician practice operations experience Preferred
